Art by Jida is more than just a store – it’s a journey of healing, connection, and a celebration of life’s simple joys. As a watercolour artist originally from Thailand, I moved to Tasmania to embrace new opportunities and experiences. Art has always been a personal way for me to express emotions, but it became even more powerful as I turned to it to heal from my own struggles with anxiety and depression. Through this journey, I discovered the transformative power of creativity and its ability to connect us with others.
My art is a reflection of this personal path, capturing the beauty of nature, the calm of Tasmania’s landscapes, and the little moments that bring happiness. Every piece I create is infused with love, care, and my desire to share those moments with others.
In addition to my art, I am currently studying Social Work at the University of Tasmania, where I am in my final year. This journey has helped me understand the importance of mental health and has fueled my passion for using both art and social work to support and uplift others.

Our Mission and Values
At Art by Jida, our mission is to create art that brings peace, joy, and beauty into the lives of others. We aim to inspire, uplift, and foster a compassionate community through every painting, custom artwork, and handmade item we offer.
We believe in the power of art to heal and connect people, and our work is designed to remind you of the simple joys in life and the importance of cherishing those little moments.
We are committed to advocating for mental health awareness and creating a space where people feel safe to share their stories, seek support, and embrace their emotions with kindness. We believe that through art, we can start meaningful conversations, encourage healing, and bring comfort to those who need it most.
